I spend more time scouring Craigslist than I like to admit. I love the rush of adrenaline you get scrolling through the posts - it's the thrill of the hunt. The other night, I was about to end my manic search for side chairs for our living room when I stumbled upon this handsome pair:
The photo really does not do it justice. In person, the velvet upholstery is more of a bright persimmon color and is in pretty darn good condition. The plan is to coat the frame in a white lacquer. I came home yesterday to find Brian did the first coat! A man after my own heart. :)
These are gorgeous. I don't normally see cane chairs with high backs. Awesome find!
