Invitations | Calligraphy

I have often heard brides (including myself) question if calligraphy on their invitations is worth the expense. Understandably, many brides-to-be look at this antiquated form of addressing as a luxury and not necessary for their big day. Every bride - and budget - is different, but I am a huge fan and supporter of calligraphy!

First of all, what other occasion in your life will you get to splurge on envelopes dripping in beautiful, swirly, and oh-so-romantic calligraphy? Secondly, it sets the tone for your wedding. Just like the saying goes, "you never get to make a first impression twice," the envelopes on your invitation are one of the first things your guests will see and can really make a statement about your wedding vision. Plus, addressing all of those envelopes is extremely time-consuming and can be frustrating for those who of us whose hand-writing can often resemble that of a kindergartener. :)
